Little Sluggers- Baseball & Softball
League Age 4/5
Baseball is coed and softball is for girls.
Overview:
These division are an introductory non-competitive division with an emphasis on learning the basic skills or throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, and base running. All players bat each inning from a tee, and the focus is on fun, teamwork, and building confidence. (
Spring Schedule:
Parents can expect 1 session during the week and 1 session on Saturdays. Sessions include 30 mins of skill work and a 30 min game-style scrimmage.

Equipment:
Players will need a glove and helmet for the second half of the season (beginner metal bat will be provided). Cleats are recommended. (See Parent Page for Equipment Buying Guide)
Sluggers- Baseball & Softball
League Age 6
Baseball is coed and softball is for girls.

Overview:
These divisions incorporate the fundamentals of the Little Sluggers program with coach pitch and an introduction to the pitching machine. Players develop core skills- throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, and base running- while progressing from tee hitting to coach pitch. By the end of the season, players are introduced to the pitching machine to help prepare them for the next division. Games are instructional and non-competitive, with all players batting each inning and rotating positions.
